Inter are facing competition from several Premier League clubsfor Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The report details how Inter are keen to sign the 32-year-old Chilean, who could be included in a deal for Nerazzurri striker Lautaro Martinez, a player Barcelona are incredibly keen to sign.
However, both Newcastle and Manchester United would like to sign the player. Newcastle are planning to revolutionize their squad, the report continues, with former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri on the bench.
Inter, however, remain in the lead for the player, due to coach Antonio Conte’s pressure for the player and the Lautaro Martinez negotiations.
Vidal has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1414 minutes. In that time, he has scored six goal and provided three assists, struggling to earn consistent playing time under former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde.
