Real Betis and Marseille are keeping a close eye on Joao Mario’s situation according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The Portuguese midfielder is currently out on loan at Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow from Inter and the Russian capital city club have an option to sign him up on a permanent basis for a sum of €18 million.
Reports have however surfaced in recent weeks that Lokomotiv Moscow would like to come to an agreement with Inter at a lesser price for the EURO 2016 winner.
Real Betis and Marseille are both paying close attention to things and would both be ready to swoop in for the 27-year-old in the event that he is not purchased outright by Lokomotiv Moscow.
This season he has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date for Lokomotiv Moscow, in which he has scored one goal and provided four assists for his teammates.
