Italian Report Claims Lukaku Out To Write History At Inter With Goals Scored In First Season

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is wanting to make Inter history with his goal scoring according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The legendary Il Fenomeno Ronaldo netted no less than 34 goals across all competitions in his debut season with the club and another Inter legend in Diego Milito found the back of the net 30 times in his first campaign with the club.

Lukaku is currently sitting on 23 goals across all competitions to date and if the season resumes he will have at least 16 games left to play to catch up with Milito and possibly surpass him as well as doing the same with Ronaldo.

If Inter are to make it to the Coppa Italia final and progress further in the Europa League the Belgian national team players chances of achieving this will obviously increase.

Lukaku joined Inter this past Summer from Premier League side Manchester United in a club record €65 million transfer deal and is under contract with the club until 2024.
