Nelson Semedo has rejected the chance to join both Inter and Juventus due to having his sights set on a move to Manchester City according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.
Barcelona tried to use the Portuguese national team full back in swap deals for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and Juventus’ Miralem Pjanic but the former Benfica defender was not interested as he prefers Manchester City.
Manchester City have offered €65 million rated Joao Cancelo in exchange for €40 million rated Semedo but Barcelona are not interested in such a deal as they want to receive cash for Semedo as they wish to raise funds for the upcoming Summer transfer window.
26-year-old Semedo joined Barcelona for €30 million in the Summer of 2017 and has two years left to run on his current contract with the club.
This season Semedo has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied five assists.
