Borja Valero’s Agent On Contract Renewal Talks With Inter: “We’ll See What Happens”

Inter central midfielder Borja Valero’s agent Alejandro Camano has revealed that his client wishes to finish his career in Italy.

The veteran Spaniard’s deal with Inter is up at the end of the month and it is currently unclear what Inter’s intentions are for the 35-year-old, who can count the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Villarreal and Mallorca among his former clubs.

“In Milan he found his new home, he is as well as he was in Florence, where he had a great time. He wants to end his career in Italy and has never thought of going back to Spain,” Camano remarked in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli earlier on today.

Asked if his client will extend his deal with Inter, he responded: “Will he renew with Inter? Let’s see what will happen.”

Valero, who has represented the Spanish national team once in his career, joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina.

Since his arrival in Milan, Valero has since went on to make 90 appearances across all competitions for the club, in which he has scored four goals. This season Valero has made 15 appearances, in which he has scored two goals.
