Inter are pressing on with trying to complete deals for Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are working intensely to get a deal done for Tonali, who is widely regarded as one of the top Italian prospects out there at the moment.
The Italian national team midfielder is the club’s top transfer target for the midfield and contact between the relevant parties is ongoing.
At the same time, Inter plan to get a deal done for Kumbulla as soon as possible. Inter have gained an advantage over the competition for the the Italian born Albanian international in recent months and they must capitalise on this to strike an agreement.
Inter are in front of the likes of Napoli and Juventus and know that they must move quickly to finalise the signing of the 20-year-old, who Hellas Verona want in the region of €25 million for.
