Barcelona have reassured Lautaro Martinez’ agents that the deal will be finalised soon but Inter are still demanding €90 million plus Junior Firpo, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker has no interest in joining Real Madrid or Manchester United and only wants to join Barcelona to play with compatriot and friend Lionel Messi. The Blaugrana have also offered him a huge contract worth €12 million net per season plus add-ons, almost five times more than what he currently earns in Milan, €2.2 million plus add-ons which add up to €3 million.

If the deal isn’t closed out by the 15th July, the two clubs will meet again to negotiate, the report continues. The Catalan club are planning to offer Inter €75-80 million plus Junior Firpo, valued at around €30 million, for Lautaro. Inter value Firpo at €21 million and so don’t plan to accept less than €90 million in cash.
