Hellas Verona Slap €35M Price Tag On Inter & Juventus Target Marash Kumbulla

Hellas Verona have set a clear price for talented defender Marash Kumbulla, with Inter still ahead of the competition in the race for the player’s signature, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 20-year-old Albanian defender will cost €28 million plus €7 million in add-ons, for a total of €35 million. The Gialloblu have raised his price from January, when they offered him to Napoli to €21 million plus €4 million in add-ons. In that case, Kumbulla himself chose not to join the Partenopei.

Hellas Verona met Juventus on Thursday and Inter on Friday, the report continues, with the Nerazzurri making the most convincing offer so far. Inter have offered money and players in exchange for the 20-year-old, as well as then loaning Kumbulla back to Verona for another year. The Gialloblu will meet with Juventus again in the coming days to further discuss the deal, but for now Inter have the advantage.
