Inter are still ahead in the race to sign Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are leading the race to sign the 20-year-old Albanian defender, who is also wanted by Juventus, Lazio, Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
The Gialloblu want €30-35 million for the player and Inter have prepared an offer that includes money and players in exchange, with Eddie Salcedo and Federico Dimarco being the suggested names.
Juventus are interested, the report continues, but cannot afford to spend €30 million on a player that would be joining a squad filled with defenders. Lazio are interested as well but also haven’t offered the requested fee.
The factor that will make the difference is which club sells which players, as Inter could invest the funds earned from the sale of Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona into this deal.
