Sportitalia CEO Michele Criscitiello has suggested that Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla’s future will be at Inter in a post on his Twitter page earlier today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri have been keen to sign the 20-year-old Albanian defender for some time now. The club have reached an agreement with Kumbulla for a long contract, but now need to close out the deal with the Gialloblu.
Inter will insert 18-year-old Italian forward Eddie Salcedo in the deal, the report continues, but the overall formula still hasn’t been decided yet. Salcedo has spent this season on loan with the Gialloblu and has impressed the club’s management.
Kumbulla, who is contracted to the Veneto based club until 2022, has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1581 minutes.
In that time, he has scored one goal and helped the side keep seven clean sheets, being a core part of the club’s defence.
