Inter and Fiorentina have reached an agreement to extend Dalbert’s loan until the end of the season according to a report from Italian news outlet FirenzeViola.it.
The Brazilian defender joined La Viola on a season long loan this past Summer from the Nerazzurri and the loan extension was quickly agreed in a meeting today which involved Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade and Dalbert’s agent Federico Pastorello.
The report goes on to explain that at the end of the season Inter will sit down with Fiorentina to hold talks over the respective futures of Dalbert and Cristiano Biraghi, who joined Inter on loan this past Summer.
Dalbert joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 in a circa €20 million deal from Ligue 1 outfit Nice but has failed to live up to expectations when representing the Nerazzurri.
Whilst on loan at Fiorentina, the 26-year-old has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has tallied seven assists.
