Matias Vecino To Miss Inter’s Serie A Clash Against Sampdoria This Weekend Due To Injury

Matias Vecino will miss Inter’s match this weekend at home to Sampdoria as a result of injury according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Uruguayan national team midfielder missed this past weekend’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg draw away to Napoli due to an injury problem and it is the same injury that will force him to miss this weekend’s match against La Samp, which will be Inter’s first Serie A match in over three months.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that the conditions of Stefan de Vrij, Diego Godin and Danilo D’Ambrosio will all be assessed ahead of the match.

de Vrij hobbled off near the end of Saturday’s match at the Stadio San Paolo with a muscle problem whilst Godin and D’Ambrosio both missed the match entirely due to both having injury problems.
