Inter could do a deal similar to the one they signed Nicolo Barella with for Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Inter are currently leading the race to sign the highly rated 20-year-old midfielder from Brescia and already have an agreement in principle with the Italian national team player with regard to personal terms.
Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino wants a sum of €50 million for Tonali, who is widely regarded as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment.
Inter could carry out a deal similar to the one they brought Barella to the club with with the report claiming Inter could take Tonali on loan – perhaps for two years – with an obligation to buy plus various add-ons.
This season Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal and provided five assists for his teammates.
