Torino have been forced to give up in their pursuit of Inter central midfielders Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
The Granata club have shown a keen interest in both players ahead of the upcoming transfer window with new technical director Davide Vagnati looking to conduct lots of business as per reports in the media.
The report explains that there seems to be no possibility that Torino will be able to sign either the Italian or Uruguayan for differing reasons.
When it comes to Gagliardini, the former Atalanta player simply does not want to move to the Turin based club whilst Inter’s asking price for Vecino is considered too high by Torino president Urbano Cairo.
This season Gagliardini has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and tallied three assists. Vecino has meanwhile made 23 appearances and scored three goals and provided a single assist.
