Inter manager Antonio Conte would be delighted if Lautaro Martinez were to remain with the club according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The highly rated 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a potential transfer to Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Despite Barcelona’s strong interest, Inter are persisting with the strong stance they have taken and if Barcelona do not meet their demands for the Argentine national team striker then he will be going nowhere.

Lautaro has been virtually ever present in Conte’s team this season and has remained in the team as of late despite his poor form in front of goal.

The former Racing Club player, who arrived at Inter in 2018 in a circa €20 million deal, has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a total of 16 goals and tallied four assists for his teammates.
