Vincenzo Pisacane, the agent of Inter full back Danilo D’Ambrosio, discussed the possibility that the 31-year-old Italian would renew his contract with the Nerazzurri in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.

“We will talk about it shortly. I have always thought that there is an enormous esteem for Danilo. And I am convinced that there will continue to be. He is a great professional who has made determination his strong point. There won’t be any problems.”

Pisacane then discussed Inter’s big transfer market situation, the case of Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.

“Inter have one of the best coaches in the world, a winning manager like Marotta and a great sporting director like Ausilio. If Lautaro were to leave, it would be a big loss, but he would be replaced by a good footballer.”

D’Ambrosio has been deployed regularly by coach Antonio Conte this season, being a flexible squad player who can play on either wing or in the back three. The 31-year-old Naples born full back has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1154 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and helped the squad keep seven clean sheets.

The Italian has struggled for first team appearances in 2020, playing on seven minutes in the league since mid-December, although he has found more playing time in both the Europa League and the Coppa Italia.
