Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has suffered a muscle injury and will miss tomorrow’s game against Sampdoria, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.
The report details how the 27-year-old Croatian midfielder suffered a muscle injury in a training session yesterday, which will force him to be sidelined at least ten days. The 2018 World Cup runner up will miss tomorrow evening’s game against Sampdoria and potentially the next game against Sassuolo as well.
Brozovic underwent medical tests yesterday, as reported in an official statement, which showed a resentment to the posterior tibial muscle of the left leg. The player will be tested again in the next few days to discover the extent of the injury.
The player has been key for coach Antonio Conte this season, making 33 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 2805 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided five assists.
