Lazio are now in a position where they can close a deal for highly rated Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.
The Biancocelesti club appear closest to landing him of the three clubs widely reported to be in for him with the other two clubs interested being Inter and Juventus.
Pedulla explains that Inter are still interested but are no longer pushing intently to sign the Albanian national team centre back whilst Juventus have done nothing more than make a simple enquiry to the Gialloblu club.
Reports elsewhere in the media have stated that Hellas Verona want €32 million plus add-ons for the 20-year-old, who has had first team breakthrough this season.
Kumbulla, who is a product of Hellas Verona’s academy, has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has scored one goal.
