Inter are optimistic that they will be able to close out the deal for Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri have offered Brescia €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons for the 20-year-old Italian midfielder, who has impressed in his debut season in Serie A. Brescia president Massimo Cellino values the player at €50 million but it’s clear in the current financial climate that a deal would never arrive at that figure.
Inter will fund the deal with the money earnt from the sales of Ivan Perisic to Bayern Munich and Joao Mario, the report continues, and the deal will be a loan with an obligation to buy attached. The 20-year-old Italian has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2303 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
