Inter manager Antonio Conte will not risk midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in this evening’s Serie A match at home to Brescia according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.
The Croatian national team midfielder has been struggling with a calf injury as of late and although his condition has improved and Conte stated in his pre-match interview that he is nearing a recovery, he will not be risked.
Conte is also still to decide whether or not to rest attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen for the match against the relegation threatened La Rondinelle.
The report goes on to add that Alessandro Bastoni, Ashley Young and Victor Moses will all come back into the starting line-up having started this past weekend’s 2-1 win over Parma on the bench.
It also states that Romelu Lukaku could be rested and in the event that he is, Alexis Sanchez will come in in his place and form an attacking tandem with Lautaro Martinez.
