There could be a breakthrough in negotiations between Inter and Brescia over Sandro Tonali in the coming weeks according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
As things stand, there is a lot of distance between the two clubs over the highly rated midfielder and negotiations could be considered as being at a stalemate at the moment.
The reason for the stalemate is due to Inter having other priorities to deal with at the moment to signing Tonali, who Brescia are demanding €50 million for. Inter are meanwhile offering €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons for a total deal value of €35 million.
Tonali has set his sights on a move to Inter and the Nerazzurri’s willigness and Antonio Conte’s esteem could make the difference. Tonali has chosen where he wants his future to be and it is now down to Inter to get a deal done.
This season the Italian national team player has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied five assists.
