Inter are serious about signing Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

Inter have been thinking about signing the full back for some time and in the last few days they have taken steps toward signing him in a bid to beat arch rivals Juventus to his signature.

The Italian national team player is open to a move to Inter as he will be able to work under Antonio Conte again and his representatives are at work to get a deal done as soon as possible.

Inter are currently in negotiations with Chelsea over him and are trying to convince the Premier League side to drop their demands below the €30 million mark.

The 25-year-old, who has been with Chelsea since January 2018, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in his time on the park, he has provided a single assist for his teammates.
