Inter coach Antonio Conte will start Lautaro Martinez ahead of Alexis Sanchez in this afternoon’s league clash against Bologna, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is currently on loan from Manchester United, impressed against Brescia in the mid-week game, scoring one goal and providing two assists against the Lombard side.

Despite his dominant performance, Conte will start the 22-year-old Lautaro ahead of the former Arsenal man. Conte wants to ensure that there is a good rotation due to the amount of games that are being played, the report continues, and also wants to see if Lautaro can impress against the Rossoblu today.

The next two days are incredibly key for the 22-year-old, as his €111 million release clause will expire next week on Tuesday, giving Barcelona limited time to make the plunge and finalise a deal.
