Should Juventus not find an agreement with Genoa over Andrea Pinamonti, Inter could postpone their gentleman’s agreement with Genoa for a year according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Inter sold Pinamonti to Genoa and as part of the deal they came to a gentleman’s agreement which allows them to re-sign him for a sum of €21 million in the upcoming transfer window.
Inter currently have other priorities than Pinamonti and this could allow Juventus to sign the Italian youth national team forward, as they look to add a young striker to their ageing attacking department.
Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola is in discussions with Juventus who could sign Pinamonti and loan him back to Genoa for a season.
The report from the Rome based news outlet explains that if an agreement is not found between the Bianconeri and Rossoblu, Inter and Genoa could postpone the gentleman’s agreement to the Summer of 2021.
