The intent of both Inter and coach Antonio Conte is to win immediately together but a meeting in August may change this, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri will still place their trust in the 50-year-old Italian coach and believe he is the perfect coach to help the team grow. The management have clear ideas, they want to move forward constantly strengthening and growing, both with short term results and long-term player development.

The two parties will meet in August, at the end of the season, the report continues. If the duo agrees upon the responsibilities of the coach and the club, then the team will be strengthened overall. If not, Conte could step away from the role. The Lecce born coach wants at least five to six reinforcements this summer, although it’s unlikely that all of these will be of the same quality as a player like Achraf Hakimi.
