Former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung was a guest at Appiano Gentile having been invited by Javier Zanetti and he spoke to Inter Channel on his visit: “Playing against Zanetti was always difficult because of his style of play. Today Zanetti has a new role at Inter, he was a great player and a great character. He showed all his qualities on the field and has had a great influence on people who have seen him play. He’d definitely have been a great teammate, although I have not had the pleasure of playing with him, only against him. It’s clear he’s a great person. He was really important for the teams in which he played for at Inter and for the Argentine national team.”
