In the latest reports by Sky Sports, Inter‘s preparation for the Sampdoria clash was concluded with the arrival of Miranda and Medel from international duties. Stefano Pioli is most likely to deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation as usual, with the two South Americans (Miranda, Medel) in the middle, although, Murillo has been tested in the position of Medel. In the more attacking role, Joao Mario is favored over Ever Banega, however, Marcelo Brozovic is also considered for the defensive midfield role but will probably come off the bench. The only confirmed midfielder is the french, Geoffrey Kondogbia.
