Roberto Gagliardini answered a number of questions at the presentation of Inter’s new partnership with SWM Motorcycles:
Will you be recovered for Saturday?
“I’m better, my will has to be there. Yesterday I started running in the field and now I hope to touch the ball, I’ll do everything to be there.”
You’ve been out a game and a half, what has happened to the team?
“We missed something attitude wise and on technical and tactical level, but on Saturday we will bounce back.”
Are the team angry as a result of recent results?
“We must be angry, a team like ours can not have these moments and anger can make us put in place the right determination showing that he has learned from the mistakes. Apart from the coach everyone knows they have given something less than they did a few weeks ago. Rather than talking it is important to go out and play well.”
What is the mood of the team?
“Disappointment but it should be turned into positive energy to make a good match. We know that we have to work so much because what we’ve done is not enough.”
What do you think of what Ausilio said of the team after the loss to Crotone?
“I do not agree with some of his words. He thinks this, we must understand why he said it, maybe there’s a hint of truth, but we have to work because it does not happen again. I do not think we always have to win, we want to win always. We will have to work to understand the mistakes and not make them again.”
Are Inter missing a player with personality in the dressing room?
“It would be madness to suggest that we lack a player with personality. There are so many, we’ll work to improve.”
What do you think it will take to beat Milan?
“Milan are a great team, they play beautiful football, it will be a very tough game like every derby. They have weaknesses and we have to work on those.”
Is the opportunity to get ahead of Milan an incentive to win?
“The incentive is to get in to Europe, whether in front or behind AC Milan is indifferent. It is certainly a source of pride to stand in front, it would be a further success.”
What do you make of your impact since arriving?
“I did not expect this impact even though you can always improve but we have also lost in games where I played. I am personally pleased and hope to continue like this.”
No day of rest, what is it for?
“It can raise the attention given the recent defeats.”
