Jiangsu Suning midfielder Ramires has come out and admitted that despite strong interest, no offer ever arrived from Inter for him during the January transfer window.
“There was a lot of talk about it but in truth though, no offer ever arrived to me or to the directors from Inter,” he revealed to Brazilian news outlet Lance!.
The midfielder proceeded to speak about what the future could hold for him and asserted Jiangsu fans that he is fully focused on the task at hand with the Chinese outfit.
“I am 31 and I think I still have a long time in football, I do want to return to Europe but it is something that I will consider when the time is right. Right now I am only focused on Jiangsu, I want to respect the club and wear the colours of the team that has me under contract. That is my present and what I am thinking about now.”
