Inter full back Joao Cancelo took to social media to dedicate his maiden goal in an Inter jersey to his mother who passed away in 2013.

Posting to Instagram, Inter’s Portuguese star accompanied a photo of himself celebrating his goal against Cagliari on Tuesday night with the caption, “I am part of your life, and you are my whole story, Mother.”

The 23-year-old joined Inter in the summer from Valencia and has since went on to make 23 appearances under Luciano Spalletti, scoring once and providing three assists.
