Borja Valero: “We Want To Win All Of Our Remaining Matches”

Speaking to Sky Sport following Inter’s victory over Udinese, Spanish midfielder Borja Valero discussed the teams performance as well as his own, which saw him net his second goal in a Nerazzurri shirt.

“We had to be concentrated from the first minute after what happened last Saturday, and we did it well. We had many chances to score, and Handanovic made some important saves. We want to win all of our remaining matches – we know it is the only way for us to achieve our goal. It does not only depend on us, but we must try.”

The 33-year-old former Fiorentina man joined Inter last summer and has made 35 appearances in his debut season. He was a regular starter for Spalletti during the first half of the season, but has seen more time on the bench following the signing of Rafinha and the emergence of Marcelo Brozovic in recent months.
