Napoli are to challenge Inter for the signing of Bartosz Bereszynski according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Compatriot’s Arkadiusz Milik and Piotr Zielinski have urged the Sampdoria right back to join them in Naples but it is understood that the 25-year-old is really interested in a summer switch to the San Siro to join Inter instead.
An auction for Bereszynski’s signature is likely to ensue between the clubs in the summer and he will cost any interested party at least €10 million the Milan based newspaper understand.
Bereszynski joined La Samp 18 months ago from Legia Warsaw in his native Poland for a mere €2 million and has made 43 appearances for the Blucerchiati since. He is under contract at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris until the end of the 2022/2023 season and has made a total of 29 appearances this season for Marco Giampaolo’s side, assisting one goal and helping them to keep eight clean sheets.
