According to findings released by Brand Finance, a company which annually draws up a list of the top 50 football brands in the world, Inter have made a significant leap in terms of their brand reconition over the past twelve months.
During 2017, the Nerazzurri were placed 28th with a value of £170 million but that value has risen with 100% to £340 million this year.
Manchester United have the highest brand value in world football – with a staggering £1.3 billion and they are followed by Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are both valued at £1.1 billion.
Inter sit in second played among Italian sides, trailing behind Juventus who are 11th in the world with a value of £433m. The duo are then followed by Milan, Roma and Napoli.
Significantly for Inter, the club were second only to Red Bull Leipzig in terms of overall growth for 12 months. The German side increased its value by 120%, compared to the Nerazzurri’s 100%.
