Inter & Monaco Discussing Dalbert Loan

Inter remain in talks with Monaco over the loaning of full back Dalbert according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Brazilian is expected to join on a season long loan that will pocket Inter €3 million. As part of the loan, Monaco will have an option to sign Dalbert on a permanent basis for €20 million.

The Turin based newspaper however warn that negotiations may not be completed by the close of this weekend and add that German side Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the 24-year-old. Marseille are also understood to have relinquished their interest in him and are now pursuing other targets.

Dalbert arrived at Inter last summer for around €20 million but failed to crack the first team and made just 14 appearances across all competitions. He found himself frozen out of the first team for almost all of the second half of the season and was ultimately unable to live up to the hype that surrounded him upon his arrival.
