Manchester United could revive their pursuit of Inter winger Ivan Perisic this summer, according to reports in the Catalan press.

Perisic was courted by the Red Devils throughout last summer’s transfer window after Jose Mourinho identified him as one of his first choices out wide, but ultimately remained at Inter before signing a contract extension in September.

However Catalan newspaper Sport reports that Mourinho may ask the club to go after the Croatian again, with United still searching for a player who can satisfy the Special One’s demands on the left-hand side of his attack.

United are said to have told Mourinho that they will give him access to an unlimited transfer budget this summer, in the hope that they can secure as many high-profile signings as possible ahead of the 2018-19 Premier League campaign.

Amongst the names Mourinho is keen to pursue are Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic, but Perisic also features on the list – even if, according to the Spanish news outlet, United would seem to have other priorities at the moment.
