Inter Coach Spalletti Looking To Continue Playing With A 4-2-3-1 Formation

Inter has returned to their training ground Appiano Gentile in order to prepare for the start of the 2018/2019 season and already Spalletti is the star of show, according to Milano based newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport

According to the report, the Inter coach is the main attraction so far given how he is handling things: “The timing of the training, in the true sense of the word, he greets the journalists, jokes with a few fans that are admitted in to the training camp.

“He is already in Champions League mode and lets the team play on a reduced field with the defenders forced to turn around the ball with speed even in complicated areas. One particular action is when D’Ambrosio passes the ball to De Vrij who then passes it along to Skriniar. The Slovak looks at Handanovic then handles the ball badly and the ball ends up in his own goal. What happens? Spalletti shouts out: ‘That is worth three points for the others.’ Why? ‘Yes three points, one because you have pressed well, the other two comes from bringing fear to the defenders’ Spalletti informs the team” the Gazzetta reveal.

In conclusion the paper reveals that the mood in the team is at an all time high: “There is some laughter, even some forced ones since there is no sign of a smile on Spalletti’s face. The rest of the practice restarts with Inter playing the 4-2-3-1 which seems to make its’ comeback. Tomorrow is the first test against Lugano.”
