Inter & Juventus Make Offer’s For Darmian

Inter have made a loan with option to redemption approach for Manchester United and Italian international defender Matteo Darmian according to a report from British tabloid the Mirror.

The Nerazzurri’s proposal has however been knocked back by their Red Devils counterparts who are holding out for an outright sale of the full back who they value at €19 million now.

Inter’s arch rivals Juventus have also made the same offer to United and although it was previously thought not to be possible, it has become apparent that United have a clause wherein they can extend Darmian’s contract by a further year which would then facilitate such a transfer formula being used, the reports goes on to state.

The 28-year-old full back has failed to deliver as expected at Old Trafford since arriving from Torino three years ago and it is understood that he is not in manager Jose Mourinho’s plans for the coming season.
