Man Utd Give Darmian Green Light To Leave Amidst Inter & Napoli Interest

According to reports from source, Il Mattino, Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has given Matteo Darmian the green light to leave the Reds.

His most likely destination, according to the report, is Napoli with the alternative also being Inter, even after signing Sime Vrsaljko. The former Torino and Milan defender could return to Italy to play under Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli.

However the case, there is still a distance to go to get this deal completed. Napoli would like to get Darmian on a loan, not known whether there is an option or obligation to buy, yet, while Manchester United want €20 million for the sale on a permanent basis.

Darmian is not ruled out as an Inter target yet as he can play anywhere in the backline, similarly to Danilo D’Ambrosio. Being no stranger to Serie A, he was very good with Torino and had even featured for Palermo a few years before then when they were in Serie A.
