Inter have knocked back a €40 million bid from Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic which has caused the north London club to avert their attention toward another Inter midfielder in Joao Mario according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are yet to receive any bids from the Premier League outfit for the Portuguese and are certainly not opposed to his sale but time is running out with the English transfer window shutting later today.
The report from the Milan based news outlet also states that there is concrete interest from Spanish club Real Betis, former club Sporting Lisbon as well as from clubs in Turkey.
Inter are ultimately looking to sell the 25-year-old outright and while not completely against it, they would rather not have to transfer him on a loan with right to redemption basis as it means they have to wait longer for the money or even risk getting nothing at all if the loan club do not take up their option.
