Luka Modric will demand that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez stands up to the gentleman’s agreement that allows Modric to leave Los Blancos after winning three Champions League titles when the pair meet according to a report from Sky Sport 24.

Modric was scheduled to meet face-to-face with Perez today having met with Real Madrid’s number two Jose Angel Sanchez yesterday but Real’s signing of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has lead to that meeting being postponed until further notice.

In yesterday’s meeting Modric is believed to have told Sanchez of his desire to leave the club but was in fact told that Real Madrid had no intention to sell him.

Inter have done absolutely everything they can at the moment and it is understood they have an agreement with the 32-year-old midfielder over personal terms but if Perez blocks the move then there is very little else they can do the report suggests.
