Sime Vrsaljko: “Delighted To Be At Inter”

Sime Vrsaljko arrived today at the Suning Sports Center in Milan, where he joined the new team-mates and national compatriots Marcelo Brozovic andIvan Perisic.

Immediately after his first Nerazzurri training session, Vrsaljko spoke to Inter TV: “It will be an important season, I’m happy to be here, we have to do an important job to prepare ourselves to face the many races that await us.”

Sime Vrsjalko was signed from Atletico Madrid earlier this summer having previously gained experience in Serie A with Genoa and Sassuolo. The 26-year old had a great world cup run with his national team, Croatia, reaching the final where they eventually lost out to France. He also got an assist with the cross with which Perisic scored against England in the semi-final.

Signed as a much needed re-enforcement to the right-back position, the Nerazzurri are hoping the former Dynamo Zagreb player can bring some stability and flare to the position which hasn’t been seen since Maicon left.
