Inter’s Incoming Business Is Done – They Are The Most Experienced Side In Serie A

With a move for Luka Modric being blocked, Inter’s transfer market on the incoming front anyway is finished, at least according to Gazzetta dello Sport who have reviewed the deals Inter have done over the summer.

After the transfers, Inter now have the most experienced squad in Serie A. when combining all Serie A appearances of the Inter team, they have a grand total of 3139 between them, some 56 games more than second placed Juventus and 464 ahead of third placed Milan.

“From Nainggolan to De Vrij, then to getting Keita, the common theme of the Nerazzurri’s market was obvious, something Vrsaljko made clear in his presentation yesterday, ‘Here there are many players with a lot of experience in Serie A, we can fight for the Scudetto.’,” the report states.

“Lautaro aside, all purchases have a sufficient amount of knowledge in the league to travel tomorrow towards Reggio Emilia without any surprises. It is an obvious change of course compared to last season, when Dalbert, Joao Cancelo and Yann Karamoh arrived, players who had to discover everything. This year, Inter chose to be on the safe side. Spalletti made specific requests for players, at the beginning of the market and the leaders moved along that axis even if they couldn’t bring Vidal and Darmian.”
