It did not begin as Inter would have hoped and now they require an immediate shock to bounce back from their largely unexpected defeat to Sassuolo at the weekend, Corriere della Sera detail.
“Having to pick themselves up after just one match was not in the plan and Steven Zhang, son of the Suning owner Jindong, does not like that this is the case as the management did not do all this work over the summer for this to happen.
“More than anything the defeat undermines the psychological certainties. The Nerazzurri have rediscovered an ancient fragility.”
Inter play host to Torino this weekend with around 60,000 fans expected to be in attendance on Sunday night at the San Siro. Inter will no doubt be out looking to right their wrongs of the first match day and pick up their first win of the season all things going well on the night.
