Spanish giants Real Madrid are allegedly set to report Luka Modric’s agents to FIFA for offering their client to Inter during the transfer window according to a report from Spanish newspaper Cadena Ser.
Los Blancos have already reported Inter to world football’s governing body for being in contact with the Croatian midfielder having not sought out their permission first but Inter have hit back and denied any wrongdoing and maintain they acted entirely legitimately.
As per reports, Modric’s agents alerted Inter about his potential availability due to there being a gentleman’s agreement with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that would allow for Modric to leave the club. Perez however made things difficult for any possible move to come to fruition from the beginning and postponed various meetings with Modric and his representatives and refused to honour the agreement with the 32-year-old in the end which has resulted in Modric remaining at the Santiago Bernabeu.
