Luciano Spalletti will not completely overhaul the starting line-up for Sunday’s home opener with Torino but changes are to be expected Corriere dello Sport suggest.

One of the potential changes concerns Matteo Politano with it understood that Keita Balde is breathing down his neck to start at right wing at the San Siro in his place. The Senegalese winger may have been the last signing to arrive through the door in the summer but he has very quickly adapted to his new surroundings and is already staking a claim to be a starter in Spalletti’s system.

Other reports have suggested Sime Vrsaljko could come in in place of Danilo D’Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar in for Stefan de Vrij and it is widely expected that Kwadwo Asamoah will revert back to his traditional left back role which allows Ivan Perisic to come in from the start having been forced to start from the bench in the 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo at the weekend.
