Spalletti To Make Changes To Team For Inter vs Torino

There are expected to be some changes to the side that lost to Sassuolo for this weekend’s match with Torino and a change of formation could also be on the cards according to a report from Tuttosport.

Looking at the defence, Sime Vrsaljko could come in in place of Danilo D’Ambrosio at right back, Kwadwo Asamoah will replace Dalbert at left back with the Brazilian dropping out of the team and Milan Skriniar will swap with Stefan de Vrij and partner with Miranda at the heart of the defence, the report suggests.

Moving up the pitch and in to the midfield, Roberto Gagliardini should replace Matias Vecino in the middle and play alongside Marcelo Brozovic. It remains to be seen whether Lautaro will be trusted in the attacking midfield role again but he could well be replaced by Keita Balde. With Asamoah moving back to left back, the left midfield role is empty and the void will be filled by Ivan Perisic.

Spalletti used a 4-2-3-1 in the defeat to Sassuolo but could instead opt for a 3-4-2-1 formation that would largely be determined by the player choices he makes.
