Inter manager Luciano Spalletti spoke with Sky Sport following the 2-2 home draw with Torino that saw Inter blow a two goal lead.
“It is difficult to explain the reason for the decline in the second half. We did not respond to the pressure and we conceded a difficult goal to explain. There was no individual at fault for it, Belotti touched it down and everyone was too late to react. Nobody read it well and seemed to be surprised. The correct consideration was not given to the ball.”
Spalletti then proceeded to speak on objectives for the season and he believes his side have it in them to topple Juventus despite just one point from two matches.
“Winning all the games will be difficult as we need to take some steps forward but we can become the anti-Juventus, but firstly we have to recover 20 points on Napoli. We had a big transfer market, last year we had fifteen players and this year we have twenty, which gives us an advantage.”
He did however go on to state that if Inter play like they did again last night they are in fact the, “anti-nobody” rather than the “anti-Juventus.”
