Handanovic’s Error “Inexplicable” As Nobody Truly Stars For Inter Against Torino

Corriere dello Sport have labelled Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic’s error at the first goal as ‘inexplicable’ in their player ratings wherein the Slovenian shot stopper was handed a 4/10.

“The blunder that opened the goal up for Belotti is inexplicable,” the Rome based newspaper stated but they did cut Handanovic some slack when it came to the second goal, “because of a deflection he could not get a touch on Meite’s shot.”

Handanovic aside, there were no real standouts in the eyes of Corriere dello Sport in the Inter team as evidenced by the fact nobody had above a 6/10 rating.

Goalscorers Ivan Perisic and Stefan de Vrij were both handed 6’s as were Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah, Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic.

Danilo D’Ambrosio had the second worst rating among Inter players with a 5/10 rating while Mauro Icardi, Matias Vecino, Sime Vrsaljko and Marcelo Brozovic were all given a 5.5 rating for their exploits in the 2-2 draw.
