Inter Not Expecting Any More Exits

It is beginning to look increasingly likely that Joao Mario will in fact be remaining with Inter as the transfer markets across Europe all get closer to closing.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter never placed the Portuguese on the market and the offers that have arrived are down to the player himself and have been welcomed by him, a claim backed up by the words of Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio’s word’s last night.

“We think that there is a place for Joao Mario here, no one has shown him the door, we have received offers which he has also welcomed. However, he is happy here, I can see that when he trains.”

Inter are now presuming there will be no more departures, including the 25-year-old, the report goes on. Despite interest from Turkey with offers alleged to have arrived from Galatasaray and Besiktas, Joao Mario only considers one option, that of Real Betis. The Seville based club however have set their sights on former Inter loanee Rafinha putting any move for Joao Mario in doubt.
