Inter’s Senegalese international winger, Keita Balde, stopped by Italian TV channel Sky Sport Italia to comment on the 3-0 victory in the Serie A away against Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The former Lazio player stated that “We are all very happy, it was an important match today. We wanted the three points and we managed to get it.”

How did you find playing in the lone striker role up front?

“I was looking to stretch Bologna’s defence, I did what the coach asked me to do. It is not my natural position but I will do what the team needs. The lads worked really well today.”

How do you feel from a physical point of view?

“I did my preseason training with Monaco. We can say that they train differently but the most important thing is to give 100% when you are called up to help the cause. I feel well, I think that I will reach my peak physical condition by playing for the national team.”

Was it important to try a new experience before returning back to Italy?

“Yes, I also played in the Champions League and played against great teams there. I like traveling and I liked traveling to see other leagues. I have spent 6 years in Italy, now I have returned as a professional.”
